Jimmy Akin tickled pink by Compendium
No less an Apologist than Jimmy Akin of Catholic Answers loves the Compendium, and explains why in concrete terms to his readers (while also defending the use served by the CCC):

Several of my friends have their copies of the Compendium already, so I've had a chance to glance through it. I especially like the prayers in English & Latin at the end - now they are all right there and easy to find. Plus, having all the prayers also in Latin is a clear implementation of what Pope Benedict has exhorted the faithful to do in terms of actively using Latin as a "lingua franca" in the universal Church.
The perfect gift for Catechumans this Easter? I think so!
