"Spark Notelets for Encyclicals" by the Ironic Catholic
Feel free to write some of your own (and hopefully we won't put Luke out of a job)."Luke McNamara, a graduate theology student at St. Catherine's Divinity School in Palo Alto, found a way to do good and earn his rent: summarizing recent papal encyclicals in one to three pithy sentences."
My addition?
"Veritatis Splendor (John Paul II, 1993): Truth is objective. The parable of the rich young man reveals that we should follow God's commandments because only He is the Truth. Subjectivism, false autonomy, erroneous consciences, teleologism, utilitarianism, pragmatism, consequentialsm, proportionalism and ethical relativism are not the truth and will not set you free. So get on board everybody and, uh, when in doubt - ask Mary. Amen."
