Msgr. Peter Elliott named bishop

Here's a piece of news that got under my radar. Monsignor Peter J. Elliott was named an auxiliary bishop for the archdiocese of Melbourne, Australia this week. Ignatius Insight has more.

I was able to meet the Monsignor last year at the Sacraficium Laudis conference. [photos here, and here (incidentally, many of my friends and former professors are in these photos.]
