Happy 45th Anniversary of Vatican 2!

Yep, October 11th:

In 1962, Pope John XXIII convened the first session of the Roman Catholic Church's [Twenty-First] Ecumenical Council, also known as Vatican II.

Today is probably as good a time as any to reflect upon what is and what is not an appropriate expression of "the Spirit of Vatican 2."
