What is the blogger up to?
Perhaps you have noticed that blogging has been on the light side recently. There are a few reasons for this. First, I moved into a new apartment this week and had to go through the time-consuming task of setting up my new room and moving my (ever-growing) personal library. Yesterday my new parish priest visited for the house blessing (according to the old rite, no less!).
This week I begin my forth and final semester of studies for the STB degree at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception (a theology school run by the Dominican Friars of the Eastern Province of St. Joseph). I'm especially looking forward to my two courses with Fr. Thomas Joseph White, O.P. I will sit for my special STB exams in mid-May, but feel free to start sending up prayers now!
Finally, I'm feverishly preparing for next week's March for Life, during which I will be attending (and blogging) many functions and related activities. If you are planning on walking, keep your eyes peeled for me on the Mall.
(Oh, and before the March, there's a little local event to survive on Tuesday. I'll be staying out of the way because the entire city will be in lock-down mode.)
