Today is a very busy day on AmP, some higlights of my coverage:

• I am breaking the story about recent reports which claim that Legionaries of Christ founder Marcial Maciel fathered children, "led a double life" and could be renounced as spiritual founder by the movement
• On the political front, I note that Tom Daschle has withdrawn his nomination to be Obama's Health and Human Services secretary. Also: It turns out the majority of Americans disapprove of Obama decision to fund overseas abortions, a new poll reveals
• Two catholic tips: Thomas More College has launched a Sacred Art Program and I give you a chance to buy Pope Art and help Catholic high-schoolers
• On the personal side, I'm looking for a housemate and won a pro-life blogging award
• Surprise, surprise: I get outraged by a call for the pope to step down over a Holocaust denier
• Finally, to lighten things up: have a chuckle at the Papist Picture of the Day and read something punchy from the Papist Quote of the Day
