AmP's 5,000th Post! (5:55PM, 05/05)

Wow, this marker crept up on me!

Here are five fun facts about this occasion:

• I've written 1,000 of those posts in the last six months.
• AmP has been visited over one million times since then.
• In the first 3 years, I averaged 4 posts a day. Now it's 6.
• Regardless of its name, there have only been 258 PPOTDs.
• Of my early posts, these ones are easily among my favorites.

Thank you for all the tips, prayers and support. I wouldn't have kept sane for 5,000 posts without this.

Homework permitting, I may see what's in the AmP drinking fund tonight and make a qualified withdrawal. ;-)
