AmP Countdown: Time left to demand that Congress make health care reform pro-life: 2009-11-07 18:00:00 GMT-05:00

A couple photos from my trip to Poland last week

Last week I attended and presented at the second international congress of the College of Social and Media Culture in Poland, as I explained

I believe the presentation was received very positively, and the rest of the congress was very informative. The figures involved with this College are at the center of the new evangelization efforts in traditional and new media in Poland.

The Aussies made a particularly strong showing. It's always good to meet convicted Catholics from that part of the world. Plus they present a bit less of a language barrier to poor Americans like me. Hopefully I can find someone willing to sponsor an AmP visit down south soon!

Here is me asking a question of one of the panels (can you tell this is a polish setting?):

Here is me delivering my presentation, hopefully I can find the video record (nice facilities, no?):

My polish hosts were wonderfully generous. We were able to tour the nearby Radio Maria facilities as well as their television apostolate. I was even able to spend a day in Torun (the nearest city) - which is where Nicholas Copernicus was born - touring the town and its many beautiful churches. A Latin novus ordo Mass was a wonderful send off on Sunday.

I would urge AmP readers to visit the College's website and pray for their continued success.
