Catching up, forging ahead....

*whew!*

There's nothing like catching up on 10+ days of emails, news items, work tasks and life matters!

Since returning from my Poland-Ireland trip two days ago I've been deluged in catching up with many urgent matters at work, some practical household chores, and - yes - planning for my upcoming "big announcement".

48 hours after touching-down back in the States, I'm happy to say that the catching up is nearly complete and the "big announcement" is almost ready to go public.

Thanks for your patience during this lull. 

A large part of my time has been occupied with work related to the current health care reform battle raging in Congress. I hope to at least post an update on this critical issue soon.

In the meantime, I tend to be more active on twitter when I don't have time for full blog posting.

(Also, mirabile dictu, the New York Senate rejected gay marriage 38-24 today. So some good news!)
